2011 Opening of the Courts
The 2011 Opening of the Courts service was held at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
Protesters attended, raising grievances with the family law system.
Remarks by Chief Justices Heather Smith , AnneMarie Bonkalo, and Warren Winkler both raised calls for reform of the family justice system.
An advance screening of a documentary, Blakout, also criticizing the family justice system occurred at The Royal Cinema on September 15, 2011.
