Omar Ha-Redeye judged the 2025 TMU Moot Norton Law Cup on Jan. 18-19, 2025.

The competition focused on an appeal of the Supreme Court of Canada decision in R. v. Greater Sudbury (City), 2023 SCC 28 (CanLII), determining the definition of an employer for construction projects under ss. 1(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, RSO 1990, c O.1.
